Dr. Dadam completed her undergraduate and PhD theses (National University of Córdoba, UNC) at the Laboratory of Hydrosaline Balance and Hypertension at IMMF, under the supervision of Drs. Laura Vivas and Ximena Caeiro. Her research focused on sexual dimorphism in the control of blood pressure and hydrosaline homeostasis, with particular emphasis on the role of the sex chromosome complement (XX/XY) and the angiotensinergic and vasopressinergic systems. She has specialized in behavioral animal models, gene expression analysis, and cellular biology. She completed a research internship at the Institute of Biochemistry, Biological Research Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Szeged, Hungary) an international cooperation program, strengthening her training in neurobiological research.
Since 2024, she has served as a lecturer-researcher at the National University of Córdoba, developing research lines focused on molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying sexual differentiation, early developmental programming, and sex-specific vulnerability. Since 2025, she has been affiliated with the Laboratory of Neuroplasticity at IMMF, where, together with Dr. Paglini, she leads a research line centered on vulnerability to addiction in the context of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), analyzing behavioral and neurobiological mechanisms, including the impact of early and pharmacological interventions on learning, motivation, and responses to psychoactive substances, with particular emphasis on sex differences.
